Mission:
To serve as a forum that establishes a strong link with local watershed groups needing assistance to help enhance, conserve, and protect natural resources and sustain the high quality of life in Montana for present and future generations.

Inclusion in the list of watershed groups does not indicate MWCC endorsement of specific groups. The groups listed on the MWCC web site are considered watershed groups, sharing several key components such as: inclusive participation, membership, and decision-making; and working within a local watershed context to address tangible natural resource issues or interests. Natural resource partners with similar local goals include conservation districts, nonprofit organizations, water quality districts, and research/academic entities.  Read our Operating Guidelines »
